You reap what you sow galatians 6:7 ! This is just as true in entertainment as it is in other life activities. If we are merely looking for frivolous moments, we should not be surprised that there are destructive elements coming out of our entertainment practices hosea 8:7 . While if we are practicing godly thinking even in the midst of being entertained, we will reap more and more of God’s love for us and flowing through us hosea 10:12-13 . In many ways entertainment comes down to what you are pursuing, what you are seeking in it. If you want to be a critic, you’ll find flaws in anything. If you want to simply be amused, you will incite your flesh no matter what you watch or do. If you want to know the Lord more, you will find Him pleased to give you more of Himself proverbs 11:27 .
They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind. The stalk has no head; it will produce no flour. Were it to yield grain, foreigners would swallow it up.
Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD, until He comes and showers His righteousness on you. But you have planted wickedness, you have reaped evil, you have eaten the fruit of deception. Because you have depended on your own strength and on your many warriors,
If you search for good, you will find favor; but if you search for evil, it will find you!

Without any intentional purpose you will always get out of entertainment what you bring to it titus 1:15 . If you are merely looking for selfish ends, you will find yourself isolated, rigid and ultimately excluding yourself from enjoying good fellowship proverbs 18:1 . So, we ought to be careful to sow what God wants for us to reap His glorious blessings rather than just keep sowing the old crop and expecting something new matthew 7:16 .
To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.
Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire; he breaks out against all sound judgment.
By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

So, we should be careful what we put before our eyes job 31:1 and what we spend our time doing galatians 6:8 . As what we pay attention to, what comes before our senses and goes through our mind will have its effects, good deuteronomy 31:19 or bad deuteronomy 28:65-67 no matter the medium ii kings 3:16-17 . What we practice is what we become -input becoming thoughts, thoughts becoming words, words becoming actions, actions becoming habit, habit becoming character, character becoming heart- So, we should be careful what we practice in the entertainment of our senses and mind matthew 6:22-23 , for what we focus on should be Jesus hebrews 12:2-4 but often it is worldly principles rather than Christ colossians 2:8 .
Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Repetition in life, practice, what you continually pursue, is what you will experience more and more from your entertainment of various principles within yourself. God Himself will be experienced more through your own corrupt-practiced heart than the Truth if you do not seek God Himself…you’ll end up seeing Him through what you’ve become psalm 18:25-26 . The critic will be convinced God is critical. The lustful will imagine God always wants more and more from them. The depressed will sense that God doesn’t care for those He is unhappy with. The angry will think God and others are hateful and out to get them. And so, if much of your time is spent in amusement that misleads your heart away from God instead of entertaining Christ within yourself…you end up heavily effected by what you indulge in deuteronomy 12:4-8, 29-32 .
To the faithful You show Yourself faithful, to the blameless You show Yourself blameless, to the pure You show Yourself pure, but to the devious You show Yourself shrewd.

You must not worship the LORD your God in their way. But you are to seek the place the LORD your God will choose from among all your tribes to put His Name there for His dwelling. To that place you must go; there bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks. There, in the presence of the LORD your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the LORD your God has blessed you. You are not to do as we do here today, everyone doing as they see fit...
The LORD your God will cut off before you the nations you are about to invade and dispossess. But when you have driven them out and settled in their land, and after they have been destroyed before you, be careful not to be ensnared by inquiring about their gods, saying, "How do these nations serve their gods? We will do the same." You must not worship the LORD your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods. See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.
