It is a glory of the Lord to be so infinite that the finding of all that He is, is impossible romans 11:33 , but within those depths ii chronicles 6:1 isaiah 45:15 are glories to be mined colossians 2:2-3 that can never be depleted as the constant gain of satisfaction from them is eternal psalm 16:11 . But that infinite glory is precisely why God wants us to seek for Him. It is His glory to be magnificently infinite, but we get to experience His glory by the very seeking out of Him proverbs 25:2 job 26:14 .
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and His paths beyond tracing out!
My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in Whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
You make known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.
It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out.
And these are but the outer fringe of His works; how faint the whisper we hear of Him! Who then can understand the thunder of His power?"

We isolate ourselves by seeking our own selfish pursuits jeremiah 45:5 proverbs 18:1 john 12:24 , thus forsaking the love that could be ours by clinging to our own gods rather than seeking the Lord romans 3:11 jonah 2:8 . God in His glorious love pursues us romans 5:8 romans 10:21 , and it is this very love that is a privilege, a blessing, and a glory to take part in. He beckons us to pursue Him in a reciprocal response i john 4:19 romans 2:7 zechariah 12:10 , as participation in His glory john 17:20-26 . This is our glorious inheritance that He offers to us i peter 3:9-12 , the glory of love by seeking Him and other’s peace i thessalonians 5:15 i corinthians 10:24 psalm 34:14 . It is our glory to seek Him and start to grasp the depths of His love ephesians 3:17-19 . We experience His love more and more as we love Him more and more.
Should you then seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them. For I will bring disaster on all people, declares the LORD, but wherever you go I will let you escape with your life.’ "
One who isolates himself pursues selfish desires; he rebels against all sound wisdom.
Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
But concerning Israel He says, "All day long I have held out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people."
To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
"And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on Me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for Him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for Him as one grieves for a firstborn son.
My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in Me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You. May they also be in Us so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.
I have given them the glory that You gave Me, that they may be one as We are one—I in them and You in Me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that You sent Me and have loved them even as You have loved Me.
Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, and to see My glory, the glory You have given Me because You loved Me before the creation of the world.
Righteous Father, though the world does not know You, I know You, and they know that You have sent Me. I have made You known to them, and will continue to make You known in order that the love You have for Me may be in them and that I Myself may be in them."
Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. For, "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.
so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

This seeking and finding of God’s glory does not come naturally i corinthians 2:14 , but it is something we can still CHOOSE to pursue luke 11:9-10 . This is not a treasure we will stumble across; it can only be found by actually looking for it proverbs 2:1-5 deuteronomy 4:29 . So, it is hidden to those who refuse to look, to see, to bend to God’s ways and thoughts john 9:39-41 matthew 18:3 isaiah 55:8 . "For there are none so blind that refuse to see." ezekiel 12:2 And yet this treasure is out in the open, given to those who seek Him like a child willfully choosing to humble themselves to learn and grow in His Truth so as to find His glories matthew 11:25-30 . This is the seeking that we should be actively making every effort to have as a way of life hebrews 11:6 in all circumstances so as to finally find Him acts 17:24-28 . For it is when we humble ourselves to search out the Lord to understand Him that we find the blessings of a relationship with Him daniel 10:11-12 romans 2:7 .
The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding— indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.
But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind."
Some Pharisees who were with Him heard Him say this and asked, "What? Are we blind too?"
Jesus said, "If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains.
And He said: "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways," declares the LORD.
Son of man, you are living among a rebellious people. They have eyes to see but do not see and ears to hear but do not hear, for they are a rebellious people.
At that time Jesus said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what You were pleased to do.
All things have been committed to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
The God Who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And He is not served by human hands, as if He needed anything. Rather, He Himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.
From one man He made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.
God did this so that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from any one of us. ‘For in Him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are His offspring.’
He said to me, "Daniel, you are a man treasured by God. Understand the words that I’m saying to you. Stand on your feet, for I have now been sent to you."
After he said this to me, I stood trembling. "Don’t be afraid, Daniel," he said to me, "for from the first day that you purposed to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your prayers were heard. I have come because of your prayers.
